Why Dis went away…

Since restarting the site I’ve gotten a lot of inqueries about “what happened” and what the hell has been going on since Dis shut down almost two years ago.

These comments were also echoed in hundreds of concerned emails people have send me since I stopped posting. (I just openned my Dis email the other day for the first time since Dis stopped — I swer I’ll write back to everyone!)

I feel, at the very least, an explanation is in order. I’m going to try and do my best to help you all understand the complexities of my life and mind as it applies to my seeming disappearance and abandonment of Dis.

Dis finally loaded up…

After many hours of work I finally have all the old Disassemblance comics loaded into this behemoth.   Next to work on loading Running w/ Glue and figuring out how to incorporate multiple comics.

Site stalled…

An hour into porting over all the comics from the old Dis site and I already run into trouble.

For some unknown reason the Webcomic plug-in stalled on me.  Not only did it NOT import all the old comics…  now I get nothing but a blank screen in the admin page.  :\

Perhaps I should have gone with ComicPress

New site!!!

New site… finally… WOOOO!!!

Still trying to get shit together.  I know it’s all unprofessional and whatnot to have a half-assed site up, but given how long Dis has been in stasis I figured it was better to put up a half-assed site than to leave the same old site up.

At least y’all know I”m actually doing something back here. ;)

More to come…
